rainbow

left the office at around 7am. argh. not my idea of a wednesday. i was hoping i could go home at 6am today 'cause i really really really want to sleep again. 9 hours of sleep doesn't guarantee a general feeling of wellness. in fact i felt sooo sleepy last night.

bus ride from ayala to baclaran... rather peaceful... until we all heard a bang somewhere behind the bus and i figured there must have been a problem with one of the bus tires. so we had to halt for quite some time and i was getting irritated and grumpy... heck i want to sleep.

so i got off the bus, waited for an fx and... today happens to be the 1st of feb... the 1st wednesday of the month... so the baclaran crowd will probably double in volume. this would also mean the traffic will be baaad this early. grumpy-meter... not good!

it started to drizzle - while the sun was starting to shine. and thoughts ran through my mind...
1) most probably, may kinakasal na tikbalang ngayon
2) i've never seen so tiny rain drizzles... it actually looks cute
3) pero that doesn't defeat the fact that i am grumpy today.
4) i looked towards the bay... towards the clouds... uy may rainbow... double glanced... "UY! MAY RAINBOOOOOOOW!!!"... i swear i smiled!

and i marvelled again... like it's my first time to see a rainbow. ok... grumpy feelings are gone. i love life again! haha all because of a wonderful rainbow. i can't remember the last time i saw one... maybe during HS science experiments on prisms pa?

the lady in front of me was as grumpy as i was.. i so wanted to tell her, "hey, lady, there's a rainbow! look behind you!"... but i can't. she looked so snappy.

and i took my phone and just took a picture of the source of my smile today. sorry... my phone cam's not that techie... doesn't really give justice to the beauty my eyes captured earlier. and my cam gave off that cam sound... and ms. grouchy gave me a stern look like, "who told you to take pictures?"... kebs ko. i'm happy. you're not.

yeah... the magnificent rainbow, the wonderful clouds, the beautiful morning, a portion of the lush trees, and yes, errr... the electric wires. hehe!
