still on our december vacation... :) we mostly stayed in mike's house in cavite, and i realized that mike's home is now my home too. i'm no longer a paranaque girl. i'm a cavitenya now!
i just love love this spot. it's a wide window that lets a lot of sunlight in, and there's a trapezoidal bench with cushions. when i was a kid, i've always dreamed of hanging out in an area that's like this - perfect for reading books while drinking coffee. naks. who would have thought i could have access to such a lovely nook? my mum-in-law is an excellent homemaker.
and so... i read this cook book (i didn't have coffee then) at the nook:
it belongs to my MIL. published on 1972. mama cooks great food. maybe if i read this, i could get a few drops of her powers :) it's an interesting book. why? because it even teaches you to do this:
mike and i had lots of downtime because we were pobre and cashless. hahaha! from singapore, we sent our funds to mami. mami is in tarlac, that means we only got our cash when we went to tarlac. it wasn't a bad thing because we were able to rest - a lot - and watch the modern family, like this...
and eat lots of our favorite lucky me, like this...
we also went out for quick drives. we were lucky once, we found one of nature's little, sweet treats like this - 2 rainbows!
and finally at night, we have more treats when we china with keyla like this...
