at church, there was a couple sitting to my left. i will state a fact: they were singing out of tune. not a single tune right. at first i was distracted because of the tune. later on, distraction turned into admiration and i thought i would do anything just to be in their shoes during the entire duration of the mass. why?
- because they were singing with all their might!
- because they didn't care if they were in tune or not. all that mattered was their desire to worship and communicate and they aced it!
- because they were the beggar who gave a mere cent, but gave all that she had, and more!
- because not only were they zealous singers, they were also zealous in the responses. so admirable!
i bet our pal up there was very happy :)
